The AF shutter system is divided into 3 subsystems:
The AF-Normal and AF-HPF shutter subsystems were developed with comfort, climate control, and construction security in mind. The use of fixed or adjustable slats allows for the control of shading/light in openings, making it a fundamental element in the climate control and comfort of the home. A home equipped with shutters conveys a sense of protection and security to the occupants and acts as a barrier against intrusion attempts from the outside.
These subsystems consist of extruded aluminum profiles with a 40 mm width, featuring a European groove for the application of a wide range of accessories, allowing for the creation of outward-opening windows and doors with one, two, three, or four leaves.
The use of EPDM seals, for both the frame and between mobile slats, allows not only for light control but also protects the opening from the external environment, thereby enhancing its thermal and acoustic characteristics.
AF-Rustic was developed based on old rustic wooden shutters, making it a suitable product for reconstruction as well as for new projects based on traditional architecture. This subsystem uses a 36 mm wide extruded aluminum mobile profile and offers the possibility of creating outward-opening spans with one, two, three, or four leaves.
The AF system is CE marked; for this purpose, it was subjected to tests in a notified laboratory, achieving a CLASS 5 rating in the wind resistance test.
